As a resident of Athens, GA for 14 years, Dr. Scott Roberts graduated from the University of Georgia with a B. B. A. in Marketing and was a member of the University of Georgia Basketball Team. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine. After practicing for several years in an associate setting, Dr. Roberts opened his practice at Lake Oconee in 2000. Dr. Roberts now resides at Lake Oconee with his wife, Carla, son Walker, and their lab Murphy. His hobbies include basketball, golf, and exercising.
Dr. Roberts is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as a member of the Putnam/Greene Rotary Club. He regularly attends continuing education at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, The Pankey Institute and The Seattle Institute. By attending these, and other classes, Dr. Roberts stays abreast of the newest dental products and procedures.
